Erik Hagborg is a long-time and valued associate of McGill Buckley, having worked with us on a number of website projects including the Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse, Algonquin College Foundation and the Ontario Centre of Excellence for Child and Youth Mental Health to name a few.
Erik is an experienced digital media strategist, information architect and interaction designer and has been an information architect and user experience (UX) consultant for more than 20 years. He has played a leadership role in web strategy and user experience for hundreds of projects of all sizes and functions.
His expertise covers the gamut of user research and user experience design, including web vision and strategy definition, site audits, persona creation, requirements gathering, content inventories, taxonomy and classification, content mapping, interaction design, search engine optimization, web analytics interpretation, writing for the web, social media integration, and usability testing.
Erik brings an understanding of technology, best practices and client needs to every project. His facilitation training and “business first” approach focuses on getting buy-in from the larger team and ensuring that proposed solutions work for all stakeholders. Erik’s focus on understanding his clients allows him to provide targeted advice while focusing on solutions that will meet your business objectives. Erik is currently also working with the Canadian Nuclear Safety Institute, Nokia, and Ottawa Tourism.
